Why This Role:

The position of the Webchat Sales Advisor is responsible for delivering sales via digital chat conversations, communicating with existing/potential eir customers to provide a superb digital sales customer experience.

Expectations From The Role:

  • Achieving all Sales & Retention targets in relation to volume, sales conversion, customer satisfaction and quality performance measures.

  • Comfortable working with computers and modern technology.  

  • High level working knowledge of all Telecoms products and services (after full training has been provided) i.e. tariff plans, technology & device knowledge to deliver the right product and service for our customers and excellent customer service.

  • Ability to deliver exceptional digital chat interactions with a high volume of customers.

  • Ability to understand customers’ needs to maximize sales targets through matching and promoting eir products and services. 

  • Work in our sales contact centre and interact with customers using new web chat technology.

  • Sell products and services to new and existing consumer and business customers through webchat and support customers on their digital sales journeys.

  • Build connections and trust with customers online via webchat.

  • Follow up on webchat sales via outbound calls where required in order to support customers and close sales.   

  • Maintain an up to date level of product & procedural knowledge, taking accountability for personal development and skills gaps. 

  • Contribute positively to the team and department, working effectively within a strong team orientated environment and participating constructively in team meetings and with fellow colleagues.  

Requirements For A Successful Application:

  • Target driven, with a strong sales focus and highly motivated

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written & verbally

  • Should have an ability to quickly articulate value propositions via chat (Previous chat experience welcome)

  • Competitive individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of team in a digital environment.

  • Excellence in the English Language – written and spoken

  • Faultless and fast typer and a good multi-tasker.

  • Experience selling either via webchat or on the phone would be beneficial

  • Very good Computer and Internet knowledge 

  • Sales & Customer Obsessed 

  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry a plus

  • Minimum 1 year sales experience in a contact centre, retail, online, door-to door-sales, or outbound sales environment

  • Assertive, confident, competitive, and energetic

  • Superb attention to detail and a high level of professionalism

  • Ability to record accurate information, accuracy and attention to detail is essential in matching customer’s needs to the right solution for our customers

  • Flexibility regarding working hours is a must
