Data & Automation Engineer 

This is a key role within the RAP products organisation, with responsibility for developing and managing key processes automations utilizing Power Automate, Python and Power BI. open eir are in the process of moving to Microsoft's suite of business support applications and are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join the team to help us take full advantage of these new tools.  

The scripts and reports will cover a wide variety of business applications including Equivalence KPIs and SLAs, network deployment plans, specialist billing functions, ad hoc reports for Industry and Senior Management.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of open eir’s Wholesale system automation requirements utilising Python and Power Automate.  

• Creating reports, data graphs, dashboards, and visualisations in Power BI. 

• Develop and manage process to manage open eir product inventory databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise process efficiency and quality 

• Collecting, interpreting, and analysing data for 

  • RAP Product Equivalence KPI reporting, analysis and issue resolution. 

  • RAP Product SLA operation, reporting and reconciliation. 

• Reporting the results to Director of Wholesale Product Operations, Product Development Team Manager and other relevant members of the organisation.  

• Building online tools in support of our wholesale products

Other Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Computer Science is preferable.  

• Advanced knowledge and some experience in Power Automate and Power BI essential  

• Advanced knowledge of SQL scripting and database management is essential.  

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java Script and or Python  

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role 

• Outstanding analytical and numerical skills. 

• Detailed knowledge of data analysis tools. 

• Experience of data analysis techniques and statistical methodologies.
