Location: Hybrid work environment based out of head office at HSQ2, Dublin
Our Data Networks Solution Design Consultant will act as a bridge between our clients and technical teams, playing a key role in understanding client needs and translating them into actionable technical solutions. With a strong focus on Data Networks and SIP solutions, this individual will lead the technical aspects of pre-sales activities, including client liaising, proposal creation including commercials, and technical documentation.
Expectations From The Role:
• Developing and proposing supportable technical solutions aligned with client requirements
• Responding to tenders and creating direct tailored competitive proposals for eir evo customers
• Collaborating with Account and Pricing teams to construct the most commercially advantageous customer proposal
• Supporting the Sales account teams with proactive customer engagements, evangelising eir evo’s solution capabilities
• Continuously seeking to improve the Pre-Sales workflow process
• Where possible, look to Include the wider eir evo portfolio of solutions in customer proposals and conversations
• Assists with creating strategic offerings in collaboration with our key technology partners
• Maintain relevant vendor accreditations
Requirements For A Successful Application:
• 5+ years of Technical experience coming from a Telco connectivity infrastructure background
• Proven Architecture and Design experience in Data Networks solutions (MPLS, Metro Ethernet, DWDM, xDSL, ISDN, SIP, Satellite)
• Experience in building Bills of Materials for proposed solutions and working with technology vendors to develop appropriate customer solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for documentation and visualisation in the form of infrastructure schematics and customer-facing presentations
• Experience in creating direct/formal tender responses and constructing compelling technical and commercial customer offers
• Relevant vendor certifications or demonstrable experience
• Knowledge of Enterprise Networking is advantageous
• Knowledge of Public Cloud technologies is advantageous
