Due to continued expansion of eir Business, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer that will work closely with our Managed Services Team, working on a dedicated team, supporting an evolving and exciting multi-technology IT environment.
The successful candidate will work on and receive exposure to different technologies, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, as well as the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.
Expectations From The Role:
- On site resourcing cover - operating within a customer’s environment and under their governance.
- Provision accounts and equipment
- Supporting Windows Desktops, Outlook, Networks, Ms. Office, O365
- Maintain and build the current documentation in place.
- Interacting with and managing 3rd parties
- Application troubleshooting and support.
- Imaging and Deployment
- Manage File Permissions and Access Rights
- Configuration and Support of Mobile Devices
- Hardware Fault Investigation and Diagnosis
- Resolution and Recovery, Reducing impact where possible.
- Work with other ICT teams or 3rd parties where required.
- Create and maintain Documentation of Customer’s Environment
Requirements For A Successful Application:
3–5+ years in Field Service or Infrastructure Support
Strong hands-on hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
Proven L2 deskside support capability in enterprise environments
Solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, and wireless fundamentals
Experience operating within SLA-driven managed services environments
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation discipline
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply
Full Drivers license and own transport is essential
