Role Overview: 

Our Fabric & AI Solution Architect leads the design, development and deployment of modern Data, Analytics and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio and the Microsoft AI platform. You will work with customer stakeholders to transform organisational data into actionable insights, intelligent automation and AI-powered experiences. The role spans analytics engineering, AI solution design, agent development, knowledge grounding, governance and adoption. The successful candidate will deliver solutions that combine data platforms, business intelligence, automation and agentic AI capabilities to improve decision-making, operational efficiency and customer experience. 

Responsibilities 

• Support customer discovery workshops to understand Analytics and Agentic requirements. 

• Contribute to RFP/ITT responses, solution designs, effort estimates and technical proposals. 

• Demonstrate Microsoft expertise through workshops, proof-of-concepts and customer presentations. 

• Work with sales and consultancy teams to articulate the value of modern Data & AI platform solutions. 

• Establish data modelling standards and best practices for enterprise analytics solutions, ensuring they are AI ready. 

• Collaborate with architects on security, governance and scalability requirements. 

• Design and develop Lakehouses, Warehouses and Medallion architectures. 

• Design and develop AI-driven workflows using Copilot Studio, 

• Implement data transformation processes using Fabric-native capabilities. 

• Integrate data from ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, operational systems and external sources into data and AI platforms. 

• Ensure reporting and AI solutions meet performance, usability and governance requirements. 

• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable analytics and AI ready solutions. 

• Ensure compliance with customer data security, privacy and regulatory requirements. 

• Promote best practices for trusted and governed analytics and AI environments. 

• Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks and knowledge transfer materials. 

• Deliver workshops and enablement sessions for customer technical and business teams. 

Skills and Knowledge 

• 5+ years' experience designing and delivering enterprise data, analytics or business intelligence solutions. Recent experience with AI and automation systems. 

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Synapse, MSSQL, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and modern data platform technologies. 

• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT and analytics engineering concepts. 

• Experience developing data pipelines and transformation solutions using SQL, Spark and Data Factory. 

• Experience integrating modern data platforms into AI solutions.  

• Experience implementing data governance, security and data quality controls. 

• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and documentation skills. 

• Experience supporting pre-sales, solution design and customer-facing engagements.

• DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate 

• DP-700: Fabric Data Engineer Associate. 

• PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. 

• DP-300: Azure Database Administrator Associate 

• DP-800: SQL AI Developer Associate 

• DP-750: Azure Databricks Data Engineer Associate 

• Azure AI certifications advantageous. 

• Microsoft Applied Credentials advantageous
