About This Role:

The Sales, Presales & Finance Support Specialist provides essential support across the Sales, Presales and Finance functions within the business. The role is central to ensuring accurate and timely production of customer quotes and Bills of Materials, effective order processing, and reliable tracking of projects and billing. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Presales, Finance and Operations teams, and will play a key role in maintaining accurate records within Microsoft Dynamics.

Expectations From The Role:

•Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for customer solutions, working closely with Presales and technical teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.

•Prepare and issue customer quotes in line with commercial and technical requirements.

•Send customer quotes and proactively monitor their status, following up with customers and the sales team to progress opportunities to close.

•Receive, validate and process customer Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring alignment with the agreed quote before order entry.

•Create supplier POs, ensuring correct approvals, pricing and coding are applied.

•Support the wider team with day-to-day use of Microsoft Dynamics, including data entry, record maintenance and troubleshooting queries.

•Track projects and deliverables through to completion, liaising with Sales, Presales, Operations to ensure milestones are met.

•Ensure billing is kept up to date and accurate, working with Finance to resolve any discrepancies or delays.

•Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all relevant systems to support reporting and audit requirements.

•Provide general support to the Sales and Presales teams as required.

Requirements For A Successful Application:

Skills & Experience

•Previous experience in a sales support, presales support, order management or finance administration role, ideally within Telecommunications, IT or a related technical sector.

•Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (CRM/ERP) or a similar system is highly desirable.

•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling quotes, POs and billing data.

•Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

•Good numerical and commercial awareness, with the ability to understand pricing, costs and margins.

•Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise across sales, technical and finance teams.

•A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong customer service ethic.

•Sales & Presales teams – day-to-day collaboration on quotes, BOMs and opportunity tracking.

•Finance team – billing accuracy, PO processing and managing queries.

•Suppliers – raising and managing supplier purchase orders.

•Customers – sending and following up on quotes and processing purchase orders.
